Beat the Vault is the playable side of World's Wonder Vault. Every question and answer comes from the same source-checked entries you can read on the rest of the site, so each round teaches something you can verify afterwards. Your streak and best scores are saved in your browser on your own device, and nothing needs an account.

What you can play

• Today's Challenge. A fresh fact, a question and a year to guess, new every day. Finish the day's challenge to build your streak.
• Topic quiz. Ten questions on one topic or a mix of everything, drawn from our sourced trivia questions.
• 60-second Blitz. Mixed questions against the clock. A wrong answer ends your streak, not the round.
• Higher or Lower. Is the next record bigger or smaller than the one on screen? Keep guessing to extend your streak.
• Which came first?. Two historical moments, one question: which happened earlier? Build a run of correct answers.
• Prep Room. Practice for quiz bees and trivia nights with round practice, a full mock bee or an untimed trivia night.
• Study Sheet. Every figure on the site with its confidence label and sources, ready to copy as plain text for your notes.

How it works

The daily challenge changes once a day, so coming back tomorrow gives you a new fact and a new question. Quiz and Blitz questions come from our trivia bank, and Higher or Lower uses the figures from our records, which means the answers are the same numbers published on each record page. If you disagree with an answer, open the entry and check its sources, or tell us through the contact page.

These games are for fun and learning. They are free to play and are meant for adults, like the rest of the site.
