Editorial policy
What we publish. Records, trivia and history stories that a curious adult reader would find interesting, each with a clear figure or fact and a reason it matters. We do not publish rumors, medical, legal or financial advice, or content that attacks people for who they are.
How entries are written. Each entry is written in our own words and lists at least two sources, preferring primary or authoritative ones. See How we verify for the current state of our sourcing.
Records versus trivia. A record documents something achieved or measured (a figure and a type such as biggest or fastest). Trivia is an interesting fact told as a question and answer. History tells stories and timelines. The same item is never in two sections.
Labels and dates. Confirmed, Estimated or Disputed, plus the date last checked.
Use of AI. We use AI tools to help research and draft, and Ricky Palmos is responsible for what is published. We say so openly on the About page.
Corrections. Tell us at hello@worldswondervault.com. We fix confirmed errors promptly and update the date.
Advertising and independence. Ads never decide what we publish or how an entry is worded. We do not accept payment for entries, and any affiliate link will be labeled.
